	After a 5:00 a.m. start from cold, snowy New Jersey, we arrive at New Orleans Airport an hour late and missing several pieces of luggage. But we're happy to have had a safe trip and be in a nice, warm climate.
	We rent a big 12-passenger van from Alamo.
	We spend a few hours sightseeing in New Orleans around the French Quarter, Riverwalk, and some street markets.
	The Big Easy Rollergirls made a pitch to come watch their bouts at Mardi Gras World.

	An hour-long drive brings us to Waveland, Mississippi just about as the sun is going down.
	The Christian Life Center in Waveland, MS, our home away from home for the next six days.
	The bunks were arranged for maximum stereo snoring effect. Nice echoes off the ceiling too.
